Whether you’re getting back to bacon basics or branching out in new directions, know that Whole Foods Market always does what’s best for bacon, and that means:

No antibiotics, ever. We offer bacon from farmers and ranchers who go the extra mile to raise their animals without depending on antibiotics for any use. 
No added growth hormones. While federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in raising pork, our standards don’t allow them in any meat production. 
No artificial preservatives. All of the bacon we sell is made without synthetic nitrates or nitrites. 
No animal byproducts. Our standards prohibit animal byproducts in the animal’s feed. 
No gestation or farrowing crates. No crates, cages or tethers are permitted during the animal’s daily life. This includes, but is not limited to gestation crates and farrowing stalls for sows.

these are not rashers. they are know as streaky bacon. I only wish that you sold real rashers.

CTI says ...

I have not tried Whole Foods brand of bacon but I have had Beelers bacon which is awesome and not sure if whole foods carries it . Might be in frozen section but so far this is the best bacon I have had and just as high in standards etc. they also have a great sausage line. You can purchase these at Natural Crocers also known as Vitamin cottage. Tulrleys resteraunt in Boulder serves it up also and the best way to cook it is to bake it. Not as messy as frying it but either way it's awesome. Might try whole foods to compare. But beelers is an awesome piece of bacon.
