Mango Agua Fresca

Serves 2
Time 5 min
This light, refreshing drink popularized in Central America is a terrific thirst quencher on a hot summer day. Agua fresca (Spanish for "fresh water") uses more water than a smoothie would in order to flavor the water and not just purée the fruit. Inspired by Whole Planet Foundation® microcredit client recipes.

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon agave nectar or honey, more or less to taste
